The Ascending Leaders Academy (ALA) is a professional-development initiative for dermatology PAs & NPs — cultivating competencies in authorship, professional speaking, and service leadership. It runs three times a year alongside each Elevate-Derm conference, with an interactive, progressive curriculum.

Writing & publication
Learn to turn clinical experience into published work — abstracts, case reports, and peer-reviewed articles.
Professional speaking
Build the podium skills to present at conferences and lead sessions with confidence and clarity.
Volunteer & service leadership
Engage in volunteer service and committee work that shapes the future of the profession.
What participants receive
Scholarship registration
Reduced conference registration of $49 for selected participants.
Hotel accommodations
Provided in the conference room block — 4 nights for RAPIDS, 2 nights for Summer and Fall.
Faculty panels & mentorship
Interactive sessions and panels with experienced practitioners and Alliance faculty.
Who should apply
A PA or NP currently working in dermatology for 5 years or less, or an emerging thought leader.
Not previously registered for the target conference, and not a prior Academy participant.
Able to fully attend and participate in the program.
A strong commitment to advancing professional engagement in dermatology.
